We will pay tribute to those who left us their example with their ideas and actions. having as motivations the 170th anniversary of the birth of our National Hero José Martí, the 145th anniversary of the intransigent Baraguá Protest, the 70th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks and the 95th birthday of the Heroic Guerrilla. These ephemeris constitute essences and inspirations, lights and reasons that exalt the country's history.
The teachings of Lázaro Peña, Jesús Menéndez, José María Pérez, Alfredo López, Aracelio Iglesias, and other union leaders, permanent symbols of our working class, will be present.
We will keep high the flags of solidarity with the international trade union movement and the workers who live in conditions of exploitation and discrimination in the world, as a consequence of the crisis of the capitalist system and its neoliberal policies.

We call on the workers and the people to give their hands and hearts to the Homeland, which means more work, unity and commitment to perfect and continue advancing in the immense work of equity and social justice of the Revolution. At the same time, we will face great challenges, with the eternal firmness and conviction that we will achieve victory, making Cuba better together.
