EPROMAP, Cuban Builder's Day 2021

On a date as memorable as the one celebrated today, the 49th Anniversary of the Constructor's Day, the Company of Metallic Productions of Havana, EPROMAP, receives recognition for the hard work carried out in the José Martí “Antillana de Acero” Steel Company and other tasks entrusted to COVID19.
The celebration on December 5 is the date proposed by our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro in 1972 on the occasion of the III Congress of Constructors, in homage to comrade Armando Mestre Martínez, Moncada assailant, Granma expeditionary and martyr of the sector.
To the selfless army of constructors, an essential actor in the work of the Revolution, in particular to the comrades of EPROMAP, who have become heroes of daily feats for their daily sacrifice and fulfilled commitments, receive today a deserved recognition and infinite embrace from all his companions.
In the central act for the day held in the "Antillana de Acero", preceded by the Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdez Menéndez, the First Secretary of the Havana Party Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar and the Governor of Havana Reinaldo García Zapata, received Recognition with the “Armando Mestre” order for more than 30 years in the construction sector the colleagues of the UEB of Metallic Productions Rigoberto Arrechea Silva and Rafael Díaz Gárciga. The Company received the award "Merit to humanism, sensitivity and solidarity in COVID19" for the work carried out in the reappearance of hospital facilities with COVID19 positive patients in the red zone. The Construction Union delivered the “Recognition of Gratitude” for the outstanding participation in the construction of the “Antillana de Acero” work.
It is also worth paying tribute to all the workers with several years in our sector who every day put their grain of sand in all the works of the different programs in the country and colleagues like Armando Achong Soto, who although they are not physically among us today, worked in the beginnings of the repair of the work "Antillana de Acero" and played a great role in the works to combat COVID19, such as the repair of the "Julio Trigo López" Clinical Surgical Teaching Hospital.
Congratulations to the entire EPROMAP group on this important day, especially to those who, with their dedication and commitment, managed to bring the name of the Company to the top with the pleasant taste of duty fulfilled with the Revolution and our People!
