Recognition of workers of the UEB of Carpentry

Visit of the Development Directorate to the Guamá Workshop, of the UEB of Carpintería, to give recognition to the innovation carried out by the worker Niurbes Velázquez Vera, who received the status of outstanding work at the EPROMAP 2022 Science and Technology Forum for design and assembly of an electric sander for wood finishing work using a motor from a domestic Russian washing machine. Said work also received recognition from the Union for being the “Best Solution” presented at the event.
At the time of the visit, the carpentry workers were working on the manufacture, assembly and painting of the housing modules in the town of Batabanó, Havana, to strengthen the housing fund in the areas affected by Hurricane Ian.
