Results of EPROMAP's participation in the II CUBA BUSINESS FORUM 2021

From November 29 to December 2, the Company of Metallic Productions of Havana, EPROMAP, participated for the second time in the II CUBA 2021 BUSINESS FORUM online.

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, this forum provided an excellent space for business and trade exchange for the company with other national and foreign entities, the new Cuban economic actors, including non-state management forms, government representatives, Chambers of Commerce and Trade and Investment Promotion Agencies.

As one of the advantages of the Forum, the Company presented its stand for the virtual fair that allowed its products to be exhibited through the Business Forum platform. The stand received 111 views as part of the event, ranking 9th among the 27 construction companies that attended the fair, only surpassed by design and engineering companies, a Russian manufacturer of glass fiber reinforcement and companies that import and export construction services and equipment.

Work appointments were arranged through the Forum's website with new economic actors (private MIPYME and TCP) dedicated to the production of metal and wood carpentry elements, bars and metal structures. During the inauguration and the events of the first day, Engineer Alberto Olivera Fis, Business Director of the Construction and Assembly Business Group, GECONS, participated together with EPROMAP. In addition, the Company participated in the following events:

• Magisterial Conference of the Deputy Prime Minister Alejandro Gil, Minister of Economy and Planning on "Transformations of the Cuban economy, update and results of the implementation of PNDES 2030".
• Speech by the Minister of Tourism, Juan Carlos García.

• Business Section. Panel of the agri-food sector in Cuba. Business opportunities.
• Intervention on the effects of the Economic and Commercial Blockade on Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment.
• Opportunities for Cuban businessmen residing abroad.
• Panel of Non-State Management Forms and Foreign Trade.
• Exchange on business in the Tourism, Biopharmaceutical, Agri-food and Renewable Energy sectors with foreign companies.
